Conyers
John Conyers:Soviet
agent of influence
I have long been of the opinion that the Unites States is largely inhabited by two groups: leftists and Americans. Leftists sound like Americans and were 'educated' in America. However, they despise America and those who cherish her. Rep. John Conyers Jr is one such person: he pretends to be patriot while doing everything he can to bring America down. As for the Republican Party, it does not, according to his socialist mindset, even have the right to exist.

Back in 2006 a federal court convicted and jailed Siegelman, former governor of Alabama, of federal funds bribery. The problem here is that Siegelman is innocent. As we all know, Democrats are as pure as the driven snow. It therefore follows that the sinister hand of the dastardly Rove must have been at work. And this is where the hate-mongering Conyers is coming from. A Democrat states that Rove "got the justice dept on Siegelman". Well, what more can be said? It's clear that Rove doctored the evidence, intimidated the witnesses, corrupted the judge and bribed the jury.

Having appointed himself as the US Vyshinsky Conyers has taken it upon himself to hold a show trial with Rove as the victim. Just to prove how much he adheres to the basic principles of justice, the upright and oh-so principled Conyers publicly stated: "We're closing in on Rove. Someone’s got to kick his ass". In other words, Conyers and his fellow political thugs have already tried Rove and found him guilty. The only thing now is to pass sentence. What we are seeing here is another attempt by Democrats to criminalise membership of the GOP.

None of this should surprise us once we consider that during the Cold War Conyers sided with the Soviet Union. Any friend of that tyranny was never a friend of liberty or the rule of law. No wonder he also sided with Saddam. To give you some idea of Conyers hatred of the US think back to January 2003 when he told a mob of placard-waving anti-victory leftists:

The greatest patriots of this country are here today...The president said it'd be a cold day in Washington before this country turns against this war, but it is a cold day in Washington and here we are.

Apart from Conyers' nasty insinuation that people who disagree with his leftwing views about war against the genocidal Saddam are not patriotic, what can we deduce from his presence at the rally? Well, for one, he obviously. does not like America and prefers the company of totalitarians to that of genuine democrats. And how do I know this? Because, as he well knows, the rally was organized by ANSWER which in turn takes its instructions from the WWP, a Stalinist organisation that fronted for Saddam and which now fronts for North Korea. Knowing this Conyers still collaborated with them in an attempt try to subvert the US Government

Let us examine more closely Conyers' idea of what makes for an American patriot. In 1979 he addressed the first national conference of the USPC (United States Peace Council) along with Romesh Chandra, a KGB agent, who also headed the WPC (World Peace Council). The USPC was a subsidiary of the WPC which in turn received 90 percent of its funding from the KGB. The organisation was established by the IDCC (International Department of the Central Committee) and the bloodstained Boris Ponomarev was its chief. All of this was an open secret that Conyers also shared. Yet he could see nothing wrong in supporting those whose aim was the destruction of the United States.

In case anyone is naïve enough to have any doubts about Ponomarev's intentions, which means the Politburo's plans, he issued instructions in 1974 calling on Russia's allies (agents of influence and active KGB agents) within Western political parties to "neutralize" anti-communist leaders, including those in America. It looks like Conyers is still carrying out Ponomarev's orders. It's unfortunate but true that Conyers never saw a communist dictatorship he never liked. He was so taken with the Soviet direction of the USPC and WPC that he warmly told them:

It's people like you who should be members of Congress and from you I can see the future of America.

There you have it. Conyers idea of a democratic and progressive America was to fill Congress with KGB stooges. (Ironically, the KGB and the IDCC always held the likes of Conyers in the greatest contempt). I feel justified in saying that Conyers held to the principle that revolutionary justice followed by a lead injection to the back of the neck is preferable to the rule of law. His relentless persecution of Republicans makes it clear that he holds no brief for the principles of liberty.

As the years rolled on Conyers became an even more ardent supporter of the WPC, an organisation that was part of a wider plan to help bring down the United States government. I can only conclude that it was this Soviet objective that attracted Conyers to the WPCs activities. Such devotion to the enemies of democracy were bound to bring him in contact with the Washington-based Institute for Policy Studies, an organisation that was an active arm of Soviet policy. The IPS was so close to the Kremlin that it even used KGB officers to act as lecturers and to 'liaise; with the Soviet embassy. This is what Brian Crozier had to say about the IPS: playmates:

The IPS is the perfect intellectual front for Soviet activities which would be resisted if they were to originate openly from the KGB.

Crozier is a fellow and founder of the prestigious Institute for the Study of Conflict and one of the West's leading experts on the Soviet Union1. Curious, is it not, that Conyers saw nothing wrong in hobnobbing with a bunch totalitarian thugs who supported mass murder? Even more curious is the fact that his fellow Democrats also saw nothing wrong with his newfound comrades. And that includes Teddy Kennedy — "lion of the Senate" — who not only has strong links with the IPS he also offered his services to the KGB2, a treasonous act, if there ever was one, and a story that America's corrupt mainstream media spiked. (Perhaps the Democrats should rename themselves the Treason Party. It would certainly be more honest).

In 1975 Conyers volunteered to act as point man for the IPS by organising a group of congressman into preparing an alternative budget to Ford's budget. The result was a socialist manifesto that Conyers thought was the cat's whiskers. (Conyers is not known for the power of his intellect). The same shabby intellectual process was followed the next year with the same shabby socialist intellectual results. One of its suggestions was to savage defence to the extent of badly crippling the military, something that Clinton succeeded in doing during the 1990s. Needless to say, Conyers is a member of the Democratic Socialists of America, political cult devoted to the worship of the state.

(Readers will be interested to know that the IPS has strong links to the New York Times, The Washington Post and L A Times. That might explain these papers homogenized political opinions).

Conyers supported IPS proposals to prevent the FBI keeping track on extremis leftwing groups, regardless of any threats of revolutionary violence they might promote. However, dangerous rightwing organizations, such as anti-abortion groups were to be kept under surveillance. In 2002 he declared that "piece by piece, this [Bush] Administration is dismantling the basic rights afforded to every American under the Constitution".

Conyers is clearly a man who knows how to prioritize America's national security. He is so devoted to the defence of America and the lives of its agents that he voted against a measure that would prevent leftwing groups or reporters from revealing the identities of these men and woman, thus imperilling their lives. He also helped Teddy Kennedy destroy the National Security Entry-Exit Registration System. As Conyers seems to see it, what is the loss of a few capitalist-supporting pigs on the altar of socialism. If you think this is a vile accusation allow me to point out that he is a zealous supporter of Mumia Abu-Jamal, a man convicted of the cold-blooded murder of Philadelphia police officer Daniel Faulkner in 1981.

As brazenly arrogant as ever the swaggering Conyers actually brought KGB agents, including Chandra, into Congress where they were free to parrot the Kremlin line. He enjoyed himself hugely. It was as if he were spitting in America's eye. Never letting go of his ludicrous socialist beliefs Conyers warmly supported the IPS 'economic' policy of Sovietising the American economy.

Part of Conyers role at the IPS was to organize seminars for selected Congressmen and Senators where they would be slowly educated in the ways of the IPS's Marxist world view that lays the blame of the world's problems at the feet of American transnational corporations. (There are lot of gullible dummies in the Senate and the House).

In company with the rabid anti-American Ron Dellums, since retired from being another IPS point man in Congress, Conyers cooperated in promoting and defending the Marxist-Leninist thugs in Nicaragua, calling for a halt to arms shipments to the country. In other words, anticommunists were to be denied right to defend themselves from Soviet and Cuban supported communist revolutionaries. Conyers and Dellums were never held to account for this piece of inhuman treachery.

The National Lawyers Guild, a Stalinist front that was set up in 1940, is another communist controlled organisation that Conyers was closely associated with. He even tried to get its Stalinist leader George Crocket — now deceased — to run for Congress. Like Conyers, Crocket was a strong supporter of Castro's brutal dictatorship. There appears to be something about Castro's underlying sense of menace and his latent sadism that appeals to Conyers' mindset. Perhaps it is the sadistic way that Castro deals with his opponents, including their wives and children, that turns Conyers on. Yes, Castro's supporters are not very nice people.

Conyers continued to cooperate closely with the Soviet-run WPC in conjuring up policies that would severely damage America's ability to defend herself while giving the brutal Soviet Union and its satrapies full rain to engage in drug smuggling, assassination and international terrorism. I suppose even someone like Conyers has got to get his kicks from somewhere. There is no doubt that he — along with Teddy Kennedy — was a very willing Soviet agent of influence. All of this returns us to Conyers relentless opposition to the overthrowing of the Saddam regime. Conyers has it that the war resolution passed by Congress did not allow Bush to declare war.

Missing from his phony charge is the fact that Congress passed a war resolution authorizing the President to act. Conyers fear was that if he could not stop Bush he would quickly succeed in destroying Saddam and freeing his people and so marginalise anti-American-fanatics like Conyers who prefer a single star on a red background to the red white and blue of American liberty.

Conyers' dishonesty and his contempt for national security was highlighted by his support for Charles Rangel's suggestion to bring back the draft for the sole purpose of causing dissent in the army and violent divisions in the community. This was their idea of defending the country. Doing Saddam's work for him.

As an expression of Conyers commitment to Democracy he supported a motion that the US should interfere unilaterally in defending Chavez's attempts to turn Venezuela into another Castro Gulag. What a humanitarian. We should do nothing to overturn the sadistic Saddam but we must go to the aid of anti-American would-be dictator intent on turning his country into a Marxist dictatorship.

I could go on, but it would page after page to document Conyers hatred for America and his various attempts to weaken and eventually bring about her destruction. No wonder he feels at home with a bunch of America-hating Stalinists. It is the treasonous Conyers who should be investigated, not Rove.

1. Richard Barnet — one of the founders of the IPS and a Soviet lapdog — saw Crozier's criticism of the Institute's pro-Soviet activities as an opportunity to use Britain's draconian libel laws to silence him. (In Britain, as is the case in Australia, truth is no defence in defamation actions). However, when the IPS discovered that Crozier had been collecting enormous amounts of information on the IPS, some of it from defectors, the blustering Richard Barnet withdrew the action. The possibility that those documents and affidavits would be made public in a British court was something that the IPS could not risk. Nevertheless, Barnet still had the effrontery to claim victory over Crozier.

2. Kennedy offered his services to the KGB in an effort to destroy the Reagan Presidency. They accepted his offer. When Carter condemned the Soviet invasion of Afghanistan Kennedy savaged him. The Soviet defector Vasili Mitrokhin revealed that Kennedy's assault on Carter had been coordinated through Senator John Tunney (D.-Calif.) and Egon Bahr, West Germany's Minister for Economic Cooperation, a top Social Democrat who worked for the KGB.

A great deal of information on Kennedy's KGB links came to light when in 1991 Boris Yeltsin opened up the Soviet archives to Western researchers. One of these researchers Tim Sebastian of the London Times and BBC. It was he who found and reported the Kennedy file. The story appeared in the February 2, 1992 edition of the Times, in an article titled, Teddy, the KGB and the top secret file.

Kennedy sabotages national security: Why did he do it? outlines how Kennedy and Conyers overturned vital national security measures.

Did the KGB help plan America’s Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act?
