  1. Reduce Consumption of Canned Food

Like what everyone else says, you shouldn’t eat canned food all the time. Canned food is usually loaded with sugar, salt and other preservatives. Eating processed food also increase your chances of having constipation. Instead, you should be eating unprocessed food like veggies, meats, and grains.

  1. Don’t Eat Uncooked Food

You are never to eat food that is not cooked properly. If the food is not cooked properly, it can contain bacteria and you will get a stomach-ache and other illness symptoms after eating it. If you are eating edible raw food, make sure to always wash it first before eating. Any type of meat that is uncooked cannot be eaten raw.

  1. Be Active and Move Around a Lot

Living a sedentary lifestyle will weaken your body muscles. Even if you don’t work out at the gym, you can still find an opportunity to exercise every now and then. For example, when you go to work, you can park further away so that you can walk to the office building.

  1. Keep Away from Stress

To stay healthy, you should keep yourself away from stress. Stress happens when you are overworking your body, for example, working overtime. So, don’t take the risk to overwork just to make more money. Only work for a certain time frame, like 9 – 5 and don’t add night shifts. At night, try to sleep early at around 10 pm. If you sleep late, your body will have stress.

  1. Eat 3 Meals a Day

Every day, you must eat 3 meals including breakfast, lunch, and dinner. It is unhealthy to eat just one meal daily because you are forcing your stomach to digest a lot of food at one time. Instead, break the meals to at least 3 meals every day. At night, when you are eating dinner, don’t eat too late. The ideal time for eating dinner should be from 5 pm – 7:30 pm. Also, avoid eating desserts at midnight. Because at midnight, it is the time to sleep, and it will be stressful for your body to digest food at this time.

  1. Put Flowers at Home

You can keep some plants in your home to freshen up the air. You can buy some fresh cut flowers from the online florist store and display them in your home. It has the same effect as putting a pot of plant in your home. Furthermore, fresh cut flowers can add an aesthetic appearance and a nice smell to your home. Choose flowers that can last for a long time if you want to save money. Examples of long-lasting flowers are zinnias, chrysanthemums, orchids, carnations, lilies, and Alstroemerias. See more.

  1. Eat Real Food Instead of Taking Supplements

Don’t substitute your diet with supplement pills. The nutrients you get from supplements are inferior to the nutrients you can derive from your food. In fact, taking supplement pills can be dangerous as some can cause side effects. Maybe you can ask a friend to give you one pill to test first before deciding whether to buy it. After all, supplements are not cheap. Some supplements can add too many nutrients to your body which can increase your chances of contracting other diseases.
