Midway Aircraft Carrier Museum

One thing that might surprise you as you walk along the San Diego waterfront is one of the largest United States military ships. The ship (USS Midway) is permanently berthed there. Over 60 exhibits are at the Midway Aircraft Carrier Museum, and up to 25 aircraft were restored. That’s the most interesting part of visiting the museum. You can take yourself around using a self-guided audio tour. The number of military service personnel who have served on the ship exceeds 225,000. You can also pay extra to try a flight simulator while on board.
